Cultart Pro Project brought creativity and cultural exchange, held at Cinematheque of Macedonia.
Held at either the Multimedia Center “Mala Stanica”, the day fostered meaningful engagement among experts, students, and art enthusiasts. The day began with an insightful session led by Lidija Pajevikj on the protection of old photographs, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memories.
Located at Nikola Rusinski 1 in Skopje, this iconic institution serves as the national film library of North Macedonia. Established in 1974, the Cinematheque is renowned for its dedication to preserving and showcasing films of artistic, cultural, and historical significance. Its modern facilities include a 136-seat movie theater, making it a hub for film enthusiasts and cultural events.
The day’s events began with a captivating presentation by Igor Stardelov, who explored The Film Depot of the Cinematheque and the Method of Storing Old Film Materials. The session highlighted the importance of preserving film materials and the intricate processes involved in protecting this invaluable part of artistic history.
The attendees were treated to a screening of the film Manaki – A Story in Pictures, followed by an open discussion with filmmaker Robert Jankuloski. This engaging session provided a unique opportunity to delve into the artistic and historical significance of the Manaki Brothers’ pioneering work in cinematography.
The afternoon featured collaborative project work, as participants consolidated their ideas and finalized presentations for upcoming program activities. This session emphasized the project’s goal to transform insights into action, merging artistic vision with tangible outcomes.
Day 4 of Cultart Pro successfully enriched participants with an unparalleled blend of learning, creativity, and teamwork, reflecting the program’s core values of fostering meaningful connections and celebrating cultural heritage.
